The review of Nolan's Odyssey never arrived as a review. It arrived as a run of saved tweets across two weeks of summer, each one a joke, and somewhere in the middle of the jokes, four small words that are the actual verdict.

The timeline does the criticism

First keep: a tweet marvelling at the production tricks, the silver giants that looked like CGI but were, per the post, real 7ft men, and Matt Damon apparently doubled by a 5ft woman [1]. Three days later, The Cinéprism's line that "The Odyssey casting was top notch" gets saved too, and underneath it sits the only thing written in this whole thread in their own hand: "i like the movie" [2]. Lowercase, no argument, no stars out of five. Everything else here is other people being funny; that one line is the point.

Receipts, then a punchline

The next save is the sober one: The Hollywood Handle announcing the film's global box office against its production budget [3], the kind of post people keep when they want proof the thing they liked also won. And then, ten days later, the coda that gives the thread its comedy-show name: Ramin Nasibov's "My mornings are exactly like this... minus the yacht..."
