The ornate stage curtain at the Gaiety Theatre features a central painted scene with neoclassical figures and floral decorations, framed by gold-painted pillars and velvet drapery. Below the main area, a smaller cartouche at the bottom centre reads "SAFETY CURTAIN", while a red heart-shaped crest at the top bears the text "GAIETY THEATRE". The audience sits in rows of dark seats facing the stage.
